Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IGT.
Intern
The interview process for the internship was thorough and well-structured. The interviewers were professional and asked a mix of technical and behavioral questions, assessing both my coding skills and problem-solving abilities. They were also supportive, providing clear explanations and feedback throughout the process. Overall, it was a challenging but fair experience that gave me a good sense of the company’s culture and expectations.
- What attracts you to IGT?
Intern
I was contacted by managers in my department. After a quick email chat, we scheduled an interview. It was three rounds all on the same day. The first was like a warm-up for the next ones. Then the second and third interviews each had two different staff members. The whole thing felt pretty chill, and the interviewers were nice and respectful.
- Why did you choose to apply to our company instead of one of our competitors?
Intern
There were two employees who asked me general questions, it wasn't too difficult. They just wanted to know why I was a good fit. Overall wasn't terrible, just a typical interview
- Tell me about a time you were in a leadership role and had to manage team members who were not performing up to par.
