Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IGT.
Financial Analyst
It was a simple process with not many filters. We had 3 interviews and it wasn't too difficult. It seems like the choice is based entirely on perception. Also, the English interview filter implies a high level, but the interviewer didn't speak the language well, which is a contradiction.
- Tell me about your experience and hobbies.
- Describe your academic profile.
- What is your background in systems?
Financial Analyst
The Interview Process was good. I've been applying since I finished college and kept getting auto-rejected, but I finally got an interview after many years. It was a mixed experience. Meeting the team and the CFO was great. However, I noticed a lack of racial diversity in the offices and in higher management/executive teams, which makes me feel like I wouldn't get an opportunity here. The company needs to understand the importance of diversity.
- Why not hire you?
- Where in the world would you go for a two-week vacation?
- Will I be required to take a financial analyst assessment?
Financial Analyst
I had a straightforward and fair interview. First, I met with three senior FP&A members. Then, I had a final interview with the CFO. The first interview was two hours, and the second round of interviews was one hour.
- What areas for improvement do you have regarding your skills or qualities?
