I applied online and then a recruiter called me about 3 days later. We had a short phone call where they asked me basic questions and if it was okay to contact my previous employers. I then had to give three references to confirm my work history. Finally, I had a panel interview with a senior person from the department, my potential supervisor, and the recruiter.

This was the most difficult interview I've ever had. It was a really intense behavior-based interview. It took HR months to get back to me for the first interview, and then again for the second one. The whole process was really long!
