It was more technical. All the basic questions were asked. Once foundation questions were answered, more difficult technical questions were asked. The complete process of Oracle xmlp, bip was asked. Details about current company and work culture, login hours were asked. Details about the expected work was explained.

It was a pretty easy telephonic round where they asked me about basics. They needed a cognos developer urgently. I got selected for the second round. In the second round, I had a face-to-face interview with the senior manager. He asked me about my past experience and gave me a hypothetical situation to solve. I solved it, and the manager was friendly, even giving me suitable direction when I went wrong. The overall interview was good, I made a good impression, and they gave me positive feedback. They assured me they need a resource urgently. The third round was an HR round where they negotiated salary. The HR explained the levels in the organization and the level I would be hired for. It went well, and I was selected!

Got a call from HR one day to schedule a technical interview with a technical lead. It lasted 30 mins and seemed good. Then after 10 days, I heard back that I passed the first round. Next, they set up a managerial/technical round via Skype, which I also cleared. After that, an HR round was scheduled, but the HR never called. They said they would schedule another round soon. Then, after 2 weeks of no response, an HR called today to say the role I interviewed for is on hold. It's weird to interview someone for multiple rounds if the job isn't even confirmed. Totally ridiculous and unprofessional.
