First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IGATE.
Assistant Manager
The interview process was pretty straightforward and they got back to me quickly. It started with a phone call, then moved to an in-person interview, and finally an HR round. The in-person interview was a panel interview with two or three people, conducted over video conference because the senior folks were in a different location. It included technical and behavioral questions.

Assistant Manager
The interview process had three rounds. The first was with HR, the second with the Programme Manager, and the final one with the Delivery Manager. The interview was specific to the domain, and the last round focused on competencies related to people and project management. The HR person was cooperative and provided status updates.
- Can you describe the source to buy procedure?
- What do you know about HTML?
Management
The interview process involved asking about resume content. Be ready for some unexpected questions, including those related to hobbies and F&A. Confidence is key when answering true or false, as they might hire for a different role than initially advertised or assign a process that doesn't align with the job. It seems like there might be a waiting period of about 2 months after this.
- Questions about resume content were asked.
- Be prepared for some unwanted questions like hobbies - related F&A questions.
- Be confident when you answer true or false.
