Behavioral Other

The interview process was really disorganized and badly managed. They told me the role needed to be filled fast, like within two weeks, so I made sure to be available and fit in interviews around my childcare. Even with my flexibility, they stopped communicating after that, and my follow-up emails weren't answered. When I finally got feedback, it was really brief, not helpful, and unfair, especially since the first interview seemed to go well. The whole experience made me feel like their 'human-first' motto doesn't match how they actually act. Their leadership seemed really strict and old-fashioned, not the modern, people-focused place they say they are. Even though they claim to be 'human-first', I didn't get an equal opportunities form, and they didn't mention anything about accessibility. The CEO admitted he's bad at interviews, which set a weird tone for a rambling and unstructured chat. It was hard to have a real conversation because the questions weren't thoughtful or engaging, and it felt like they weren't really trying, which is the opposite of their 'people-centred' claims.

It was a simple and easy interview process, and overall a nice experience. It seems like a good place to work. The interview consisted of basic questions about subject knowledge, a self-introduction, and one JAM topic. It was a single-round interview.

Behavioral Presentation

Pretty quickly after I applied, like within an hour, I got an automated invite for a video interview where I had to record my answers. I got to practice with a question a few times before the real thing. For the actual questions, I had a minute to think and then just one shot to record each answer. I didn't get any further after that.

Behavioral

It was pretty informal. I spoke with two interviewers virtually. It was mainly a conversation where they asked about the role. It was a competency-based interview using the STAR method. They inquired about adaptability, strengths, teamwork, and general characteristics. The atmosphere was very welcoming and nice.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • What motivates your interest in our company and this particular position?
  • Could you share an instance where you demonstrated adaptability?
