It was a tough interview process, but fun because it was challenging. There were two interview rounds and an essay question. The people I spoke with were great.

Behavioral Technical Case

It was a 3 round interview process. The first two were done over Skype, but without video. The first round was pretty standard, mostly behavioral questions. For the second round, they sent over a prep sheet and then asked case-style questions that required using the concepts from the sheet to answer. The interviewers were all from top schools and often interviewed from field locations, meaning interviews happened at odd hours.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • They asked a couple of mental math questions that I wasn't expecting.
  • They also asked basic statistics questions, including about distribution.
  • And basic math questions too - recommend having a pencil handy.

Case

Had a 1-hour video case interview. The interviewer was 20 minutes late, kept their video off even though they asked me to keep mine on, which was a bit awkward. They were in a noisy cafe during the call and would mute themselves when I was talking through the case. My experience with case interviews is that they are usually interactive, but this setup really didn't allow for that.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you define power within the scope of an agricultural study?
