First, I spoke with HR/Recruiter. Then, I interviewed with the Engineering Manager. After that, I had an interview with the Head of Engineering. Finally, I interviewed with an Executive. The interviews were pretty straightforward and the questions were about my experience and decision-making. The people during the interviews were nice too.

The coordination was really bad. I got some automated rejection emails, then the hiring manager unexpectedly called me for a phone interview which lasted an hour. After more than a month, another automated rejection email, and then I was invited for a full-day, 7-hour interview. Another month passed, and I had a final interview with the top boss, who gave me the offer letter right there. The whole process was very slow and disorganized. They wouldn't negotiate salary, and the big boss even admitted he 'stole me' with the offer. I didn't even talk to HR until my first day and had no clue where to go or when to show up, having to ask a friend for orientation details. My hiring manager was traveling when my start date approached. On my first day, my boss called, upset I wasn't there, before I could explain I was at orientation in a different building. This was just one of many things that made me realize this wasn't the right place for me.
