I had a 30-min chat with HR first, where they talked about the job and how it's different from BD. Then, round 2 was an hour with the Hiring Manager. After that, I had another hour-long session with the VP. The last part was an hour with HR again, focusing on behavioral questions.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Case

I had a really good experience with Ideals' recruiting team, especially Adrian. He was a great recruiter, super friendly and happy to answer everything I asked. I liked his human approach. Even when I wasn't sure about continuing, he arranged another call to talk through my concerns and help me. It was really nice how much they cared. The interviews were well-organized, which was good. But it felt a bit long for an entry-level Sales Development Representative job. There were four calls plus a presentation between the first and second rounds. One call had a role-play, which was tough, and it was all in English even though the job is in Italy. I get checking English skills, but it seemed like a lot for an entry-level job in Italy. The other calls with recruiting were about seeing if I was a good fit. I decided to withdraw before finishing. Even though the process was long, they were really open about everything. The Business Development person who did the role-play was tough and not as nice as recruiting, but I liked his real feedback. His honesty made me realize the job wasn't for me, even though they were going to move me forward. I appreciated them being direct. So, while I didn't take the job, Ideals' recruiters were professional and helpful. I'd recommend them if you want a company that treats candidates well and has a clear interview process. Maybe they could make it shorter for entry-level roles though.

The interview process for the SDR position was really well organized and just went straight to the point. They kept me informed about everything, and they explained each step before we got to it. The interviews really focused on the skills needed for the job and gave me a good sense of what the role and the team are like. All in all, it felt professional and pretty balanced.
