Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ideal Image.
Registered Nurse
It was pretty straightforward, and after the interview, I got hired in just two days. Two supervisors interviewed me, and it felt kind of casual. The whole thing took about 45 minutes, though I did end up waiting a good while past my scheduled time.
- Tell me about your strengths and weaknesses.
- How do you approach conflict resolution?
Registered Nurse
The interview started with a phone call from the recruiter, who went over the entire process and the job duties. They seemed positive and approachable. Next, I had a video interview with the regional manager. This felt like a standard interview where they asked questions like what your colleagues and manager would say about you and how you handle conflict. After that, I was scheduled for a 30-minute shadow session at one of their offices. Because another candidate was scheduled to shadow right after me, I felt rushed, like it was a high-volume, impersonal process. Despite consistent communication with the recruiter, I was later informed that I wouldn't be moving forward, with no specific reason given, and they were seeking candidates who fit a certain undefined 'ideal' profile.
- What feedback do you anticipate receiving from your manager?
- Describe your approach to resolving conflicts.
Registered Nurse
It started with a phone interview, some basic questions then a Skype like interview. The recruiters were really nice and helpful. A lot of people mentioned they weren't called back after their interviews, so they reached out to the recruiters and then got offers. Maybe they do this to see if you're really interested, I'm not sure.
- What motivated you to become a nurse?
- Describe a time you dealt with conflict with a coworker.
- How do you approach a situation with an unhappy customer?
