The hiring process was pretty unprofessional overall, and I wouldn't recommend this company. I went through 5 interview rounds over 2 months and still got ghosted. It's understandable if it was early on, but I made it to the final round and followed up on emails with no response, feedback, or explanation, which is a deal-breaker. The first round with HR was straightforward, asking basic behavioral questions like 'Why do you want to work here?' and about strengths/weaknesses. The second interview with a senior was also simple. Then, I had a two-week break to complete a research presentation on technology, which was the focus of the third interview. The fourth and fifth interviews involved different senior staff and had questions more specific to the role.

I went through a total of 5 interview rounds for this role, and the whole process dragged on for almost 2 months. It wasn't the most professional hiring experience. I haven't heard back from them since the first interview, even after following up with emails. The initial HR interview was pretty straightforward, asking basic questions like why I wanted the job and about my strengths and weaknesses. The second interview with a senior was also simple. Then, I had to spend two weeks preparing a research and presentation on a topic related to the position for my third interview. The fourth and fifth interviews were with different seniors, and the questions got more specific to the role. Despite all my effort, I've been ghosted by the company. I agree with others that they should at least provide feedback or a rejection email. It's disappointing, especially after making it to the final round and following up without any response. I wouldn't recommend this process.

First, a recruiter called to pre-screen me. Then I had my first interview with the hiring manager. We talked about my background, why I chose IDC, my knowledge of the relevant tech market, and my ambitions. After that, I had an offline test where I had to analyze earning transcripts and estimate revenue. The final round involved receiving multiple Excel files, building a PowerPoint, and presenting key recommendations for 15 minutes, followed by a Q&A with three senior IDC people.
