Behavioral Technical Presentation

First, the interviewer will chat for about 5 mins to go over what a lead instructor does, make sure you're available, confirm where you'll be working, and check if you need housing or anything else you put on your application. Then, we'll get into some technical and behavioral questions, mostly focused on how you'd handle different scenarios.

Confirmed questions8 questions
  • What have been your recent projects?
  • Can you share your past teaching experience? What teaching tools would you utilize? How do you ensure students stay engaged and lessons are enjoyable?
  • Tell me about a difficult student situation you managed and your approach. What would you plan for an hour without tech or wifi in class?

Behavioral Technical

First, you gotta do a demo video. If they like it, then you have a 45-minute interview. It's based on what you wrote in your application and some skills you picked. Mostly behavioral and situation questions. They wanna know how you deal with kids when things go wrong or get stressful. Any technical stuff is about your resume skills and what classes you can teach.

Presentation Behavioral Technical

First, you'll need to record a video demo of yourself teaching a lesson, either on a Python topic or any subject you're comfortable with. After a couple of weeks, they'll contact you for a behavioral and technical interview. The technical questions were pretty straightforward, mostly focusing on your skills and past projects. They'll let you know about an offer about two weeks after that.

Behavioral Technical

It was a pretty standard interview process, though it did feel a bit long. They asked a lot of different behavioral questions about my teaching methods and how I handle working with young people. There were also some technical questions, which were pretty standard and knowledge-based. I was upfront with them when I didn't know an answer, mentioning that I hadn't coded in that language since high school, and they were really nice about it and appreciated my honesty.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • How would you handle a student who ignores repeated attempts to redirect them?
