Technical Coding Behavioral

My interview experience with this company was less than satisfactory, and I wanted to share the details for others to be aware. The first round was a screening round with a Director. The questions were mostly basic and focused on OOP concepts and collections. It was a standard interview to check if you have the necessary technical fundamentals. Nothing too difficult, but it was clear they were testing for basic proficiency. After clearing the screening, I moved on to the technical round. The interviewer asked questions from various areas, including SQL, with a focus on joins, Core Java, including questions on OOP principles, Collections (List, Set, Map, etc.), Arrays, Strings, Generics, and Streams in Java, Spring Boot (specifically about annotations), Java 8 features, and Hibernate and related concepts. The interview lasted around 40 minutes to an hour. The questions were fairly technical and covered a broad range of topics, so you’ll need to be well-prepared across these areas. After completing the interview, I never received any feedback. I tried repeatedly to get in touch with the recruiter, but every time I reached out, I was told, “I have not received your feedback yet.” This went on for several days. I started to get frustrated, as I was expecting at least some clarity after the interview. To be honest, it was really unprofessional. If they weren't planning to move forward with my application, they could have simply informed me directly, instead of keeping me waiting with no communication. It felt like they were playing a "hide and seek" game. I understand that companies get busy, but leaving candidates hanging without any updates after the interview is completely disrespectful. My overall experience was disappointing. The interview process itself was decent, but the lack of feedback and communication afterwards made the entire experience frustrating. If you're considering interviewing with this company, please be aware that even if you do well in the interview, you might be left in the dark with no follow-up or closure. It's disappointing that they waste your time and don’t show basic courtesy. I would recommend that you be cautious before investing your time in interviews with this company. Communication and transparency are key in any recruitment process, and unfortunately, this company failed on that front.

Technical Behavioral

It was a 2 step process. First, a phone interview which was a normal technical discussion. Second, an in-person interview at their office. During the in-person interview, there were two interviewers. One of them was quite rude and made me feel uncomfortable with his expressions, as if I was begging for the job.
