It wasn't too complicated, I went through three rounds and the last one was with my Manager. A good chunk was qualitative, but having general business knowledge definitely helps. For entry-level folks, they're looking for potential.

The whole process was pretty quick and on time. It consisted of 3 rounds in total, with the last one being a talk with the hiring manager. It was a pretty standard interview process, not too many technical questions.

I got referred by someone I know who told me to contact this team because they had gotten new business and needed support. I had a phone interview with the SVP and then the whole team which seemed to go well. I was given a verbal offer and then the hiring manager needed info for HR (I had not spoken with HR until this point which now seems odd). After getting all my info to HR I was sent an official offer. I came to the office to meet in person before I signed the contract and the chemistry seemed just as good in person as it had on the phone. After meeting and deciding I was going to sign the offer I wanted to discuss salary since my offer was lower than what Glassdoor said for the position and wanted to chat with the hiring manager. I then promptly had my offer rescinded via phone call without letting me ask my question and was told to check back in 6 months as asking about salary “left a bad taste in their mouth” and would tarnish our relationship before I started. I feel like this was an excuse as salary negotiations happen all the time and I would have appreciated an honest answer instead of a brush off. Do not recommend ICR as they do not treat candidates with sincerity.
