I went through three interviews, two of which were back-to-back onsite. I didn't get the job because they said I didn't have enough experience, even though I have over 6 years. It's funny because a few months later they hired someone with way less experience. If you don't want to hire people, that's fine, but don't lie about the reason. I felt like the interviewer was biased against me for some reason, and considering my background, maybe I can guess why.

The hiring process began positively, with the phone screen and initial discussions going really well. They communicated the next steps clearly, and the early interviewers were professional and gave good feedback, making me feel like things were progressing fairly. However, the process faltered during the later panel stage. The interviews became inconsistent; while one was insightful and positive, another felt confrontational, asking questions unrelated to the job in a way that seemed designed to make me fail. The focus shifted from assessing relevant skills or having a genuine conversation to creating undue stress. Right after this round, I was rejected, even though I was previously told I'd be moving forward. It was frustrating that the final decision came down to inconsistent evaluations in the panel stage, especially given my strong fit for the role and the positive feedback early on. While I get that cultural fit matters, a fair process should reduce personal bias and keep interviewer standards consistent.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. The hiring team can be pretty intense with their behavioral and case questions, and they might even challenge your answers if they don't think they're good enough, so make sure you can back up your reasoning. They're growing fast, and it's obvious they want motivated self-starters, so any experience with starting something on your own or leading others is a big plus.
