They communicated really well about the role and what they were offering. They explained the company structure and gave a detailed explanation of my specific role for the summer internship program. I also got to join in on discussions with other departments.

The interview was a Skype call and felt pretty relaxed. The interviewers, who were the head of HR and someone new in the concerts department, were chatting with each other when the call started. It's a good idea to take charge and guide the conversation to your benefit. They didn't ask many questions beyond the usual introductions and which department I wanted to join. Since it was my first interview, I was expecting something more serious and challenging and didn't prepare any questions of my own, so the whole thing wrapped up in about 10-15 minutes, including some time spent discussing Woodstock.

As a UK applicant I was a tad apprehensive as to whether I would get any notice even if my CV and covering letter were of a decent standard. Nonetheless I sent over a CV and cover letter and then was contacted by the HR manager and had a Skype interview. After that I had a follow up email a few days later to congratulate me on getting offered a internship with ICM Partners. They then provided me with documents explaining what I would be doing.
