The interview process was very straight forward and once started runs very smoothly. The recruiters who handle the hiring process really know what they are doing and will outline everything for you while also answering any questions that you may have about the process. There were a total of 3 rounds of interviews - initial phone call, follow up call (followed by aptitude and personality test) and then an in person interview. I spoke with 2 different recruiters who helped handle the first 2 interviews and then for the in person interview I got to meet with people I would be working with directly. The initial interview is a simple "who are you and what have you done in the past" interview while the 2nd phone interview is a little more in depth and is followed by a relatively difficult aptitude exam as well as a personality test. During the in person interview I met with 2 individuals who i will be working directly with and they basically told me everything i will need to know about the job i will be performing at iCIMS. Both of the people i spoke with were extremely knowledgeable and professional during the interview. I would say the whole process is very well outlined and all of the individuals involved in the hiring process do a great job at moving things along as long as you are a good fit for the position you are interviewing for.

After I applied online, I got a call to set up a phone interview. When the interview day came, she called about 10 minutes late and the whole thing lasted about 20-25 minutes. She asked about my background and where I heard about the job (she didn't seem to like that I heard it from a friend and didn't know where he heard about it). I asked about the training and work environment. Then she asked me to submit a video cover letter about why I would be a good cultural fit for the company and to let her know once it was submitted. A few days later, I got an email saying I didn't get the job, signed by someone else using the interviewer's email address.

I applied online and after a few days, I was emailed for an initial phone screen. The recruiter and I had a good conversation, and they said they'd be in touch soon. I was quickly scheduled for an interview with the hiring manager, which went very well. I was told I'd hear back within about a week about next steps. It's now been over 3 weeks, I've followed up multiple times, and I've been completely ghosted. It's fine not to move candidates forward, but perhaps letting them know would be appreciated? Super disappointing, especially since I had an amazing interview and could really see myself at iCIMS and in the role.
