You do a total of three interviews and then they send you a knowledge test and a personality test. I would say it was all great until about the last interview. They are super scrunched on time so make sure you're ready with your answers. I really felt like I was going to get the job. They hype you up so much and tell you how they can see you working for them just to deny you. I literally had to text my recruiter and message the customer service about 10 times to get a response on my application status.

It started with a 30 min chat with a recruiter about the job and my background. Then there was the CCAT, a cognitive and personality test that all Vista Equity companies use; I'd study for it beforehand, you get 15 mins for 50 questions and most people don't finish so aim for accuracy. After that, another 30 min call with the recruiter, going deeper into my background. Then came four 30 min interviews with the management team and the director of sales development, where they asked about my experience and why I wanted to work for icims. They were checking for professionalism, sales skills, and knowledge. The whole process was really smooth, which is expected from a cloud talent service, and it's why I accepted the offer. Everyone was really nice and seemed genuinely interested. The whole thing took about two and a half weeks, and I got an offer the day after the last interview. My advice: sound smart, use examples, be concise, and send follow-ups. You're in sales, so sell yourself.

The iCIMS interview process was great! I heard back super fast, just a few hours after applying. First, there was a personality assessment and aptitude test - not sure I totally agree with these, but they're easy enough to get through. Then came a phone screening with the recruiter, followed by a Zoom with the outbound SDR manager, and another Zoom with the inbound SDR manager. The final step was a quick chat with the Chief Revenue Officer just to finalize the hiring. The recruiters were on the ball, always getting back to me within a day or two. I even got the written offer the same day as the verbal one. Everyone was really friendly and interested in getting to know me and seeing if I was a good fit. They appreciate research, but there were no tricky or overly technical questions. It was a smooth and professional process, and I'm excited to start!
