A recruiter reached out for a position that seemed like a good fit. I had a phone chat with the recruiter who told me more about the role and what iCIMS was seeking and why she contacted me based on my LinkedIn. I was interested and proceeded. The interviews were on Zoom due to the pandemic. Many chats were casual but included many situational questions related to the role and questions about your understanding of the company. Everyone was really passionate about the company and their coworkers, which is what I wanted in a company - one that helps people grow professionally and personally. I didn't get the first position, but the recruiter was upfront that I'd be a good fit for iCIMS and connected me with another recruiter who contacted me about several other roles he thought would suit me. As a result, I got to interview with people from different teams - all of whom reflected the iCIMS culture mentioned on their website. Each Zoom interview was only 30 minutes, which felt short, especially when meeting the hiring manager. If you get past the hiring manager interview, you'll get a good sense of the team and company by meeting others. Overall, a very quick interview process with great communication from the recruiting team.

I had a phone interview with the recruiter. The call went well, they asked a few questions and we had great flow throughout the entire call. The next day I sent a thank you with my contact info in the event of any questions. Two weeks went by and I didn't hear back, so I sent a follow up email to the recruiter requesting status. No reply. Three weeks later, I sent another email stating I was still interested and STILL no response. It's been a month since my phone interview and I have no idea the status of my interview or next steps. It's ironic for a recruiting software company to have ZERO communication with candidates when that's the EXACT type of software you sell to clients. Unprofessional and unacceptable.

The interview process was really thorough. I had a phone call with the recruiter who was managing my application. Then I spoke with my future manager, someone who was currently in the role I was applying for, and the Director of Professional Services. Everyone was super nice and engaging. It was one of the best and most informative interview processes I've ever been through, and I'm really excited to join such a professional and great team!
