First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Icertis.
Software Engineer
I applied online and the whole interview process at Icertis was pretty smooth and professional. They had two rounds of interviews. The first was technical, asking about SQL queries, some scenario questions, and my past projects. They also asked about Azure Service Bus, Application Insights, and exception handling, covering things like message queues. The second round was a behavioral interview, looking at my past work, how I solve problems, and collaborate. After that, I spoke with HR about the offer, what the role entails, and when I could start. It was a good experience, and the questions were relevant to the job.
- Could you explain how to implement exception handling?
- What steps would you take to identify the root cause of a production application failure?
- How would you go about debugging a stored procedure?
Senior Software Engineer
The interview process was exceptional, primarily due to the talent of the interviewers. From the initial technical rounds to the HR interaction, the entire team was highly qualified and thoroughly explained everything, addressing all potential questions. The first round focused on basic technical concepts, allowing me to build confidence while working through coding problems and learning about the role. The second round delved into intermediate to advanced topics, providing a comprehensive understanding of the position. The managerial round was great for discussing company culture, assessing cultural fit, and explaining the benefits and details of the job. The HR interaction was also outstanding, one of the best I've had in over 100 interviews. The ICERTIs team is truly the best interview team. The company is great, and I've already joined. There are many perks and benefits, with strong employee care and concern, creating a very positive office environment.
- Can you tell me about your experience with the .NET framework?
- How have you implemented OOPS concepts?
- Could you solve some Level 1 coding questions?
Software Engineer
I got referred by an employee and visited Icertis office for the interview. My experience was pretty bad. The interviewer asked questions based on my resume and skills. After the interview, the interviewer gave feedback about my performance, saying I had good skills and understanding. I felt like I answered everything well, but a few days later, they told the person who referred me that I didn't answer all questions and often said 'I don't know' without trying. They rejected me without a good reason.
- Questions were asked based on your resume and the skills you mentioned.
