Business Analyst
After an internal referral, I was shortlisted and then had a face-to-face interview with both the business and HR teams.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses, providing examples from your previous role?
- Could you share examples of how you've applied your strengths in past positions?
Business Analyst
It was a two-stage interview process, not counting the HR call. The first stage was a technical round. The second stage was a direct meeting with the reporting manager. The questions in the first round mostly focused on your past experiences and how you would apply those learnings to new projects. You were presented with various scenarios and asked to find solutions. The second round likely aimed to assess your interpersonal skills and how you interact with clients and team members.
- In a situation where a client is unhappy with the product provided, what steps would you take?
- How would you ensure your team adheres to all documentation procedures?
Business Analyst
We had five interview rounds for campus hiring. It started with a group discussion (GD). After that, we had to submit a written case study. Then, we had an online panel discussion about the case study. This was followed by a technical interview and then an HR discussion.
