The interview process was pretty standard. Started with a phone call with HR. After that, I had an online technical interview with the manager and a BD Manager. They also asked me to do some technical tasks and send them in later. Didn't get the job in the end.

So the interview process started with a recruiter call to vet me. The recruiter said he'd call me back the same week to schedule an interview. I had to chase them for two weeks, and then someone else called me to set up the interview because the recruiter went on vacation. Later, I met with a very stern Proposal Manager who seemed unfriendly. They asked basic questions and then mentioned a skills assessment test. I waited about 20 minutes for the test but never got it. I called the Proposal Manager back and left a voicemail. About two hours after the interview, HR called me, giving a bunch of reasons why I didn't get the job. These reasons didn't make sense, especially since I'd asked the recruiter about training earlier. For instance, they said there wasn't enough time to train someone with my skills because of a deadline, even though I have four years of experience and the recruiter had told me training would be extensive for 3-6 months. So many contradictions, it felt really unprofessional.

The interview process was really smooth and felt like a friendly chat. The hiring manager got straight to the point about what they're looking for, what they expect, and how they work. They didn't waste time. They explained the job, the salary, and the benefits, and then asked if I was interested.
