Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IAV Automotive Engineering.
Intern
The interview was pretty short and to the point. I started by introducing myself, and then the interviewer looked over my CV. They asked for details about some of my projects. I was told right away if I got the position.
- Could you discuss your most recent project?
- What are some specifics about your projects?
- What were some of the concepts involved in your projects?
Intern
I had a two-hour conversation with the team lead and an engineer. We went over the task requirements. The company was introduced with a presentation of facts, figures, and its history via PowerPoint slides. Then there was a Q&A session where they asked about my expectations.
- Please introduce yourself.
- Do you have any technical questions regarding the task?
Student Worker
I only had one conversation, which was a classic job interview. Introduction, questions about the position, and explanation of upcoming tasks. I was specifically asked how I envisioned tackling the tasks and if I had any prior experience with similar activities.
- How do you envision approaching the tasks?
- Have you had similar responsibilities before?
