The interview was pretty short and to the point. I started by introducing myself, and then the interviewer looked over my CV. They asked for details about some of my projects. I was told right away if I got the position.

It was a 90-minute online interview with one person. We started with introductions from both sides. Then, I was asked about my personal experience and project work. There were also technical and behavioral questions. The interviewer went deep into the technical aspects.

Overall, I have to rate my interview experience at IAV negatively. The atmosphere during the interview felt uncomfortable, mainly because of one person's behavior. There were two interviewers. One was really nice, but the other kept giving me bad vibes throughout. For example, right at the start, after I introduced myself and talked about my work history for a few minutes, he smirked and mockingly asked if I had 'memorized' all of it. That comment at the beginning was disrespectful and unprofessional, in my opinion. I was really motivated for this role, and I think it's natural to prepare properly for an interview. I don't see why he had to make fun of that. It wasn't the only inappropriate behavior from him. Unfortunately, I often felt like he was condescending towards me during the conversation, both in his tone and the questions he kept asking. Besides this unprofessional conduct from that specific person, the rest of the hiring process and interactions with others, including the other interviewer and HR, were very friendly and professional. I hope my feedback helps create a more appropriate and respectful environment for future candidates during their interviews.

The interview was challenging. First, there was a phone interview about my resume. Then, a few days later, I had a face-to-face interview with the manager, mentor, and HR. The interview covered basic engineering questions, real-life scenarios, and problem statements, with a focus on the company's two main divisions: powertrain consulting. They responded with their decision after two weeks and were open to negotiation.
