I had a phone screen, then a video panel interview with i4dm staff. After that, their client conducted a panel interview. I received a benefits letter after the second interview, which I initially thought was an offer, but Emma clarified it wasn't. The client then interviewed me. I thought it went well, but I never heard back. It's funny because during the first panel interview, they said they don't ghost applicants. I chased them for updates for two months. Then, out of the blue, they called after two months to schedule another interview with the same client who had already interviewed me. Their practices seem very suspicious, like a fly-by-night operation.

This was a horrible experience. Don't bother interviewing here if you need a job soon. The interview itself might be okay, but they will make you wait 6 months or more for a start date that never happens. I'm starting to think they didn't even win the contract they're hiring so many people for. HR is terrible and communication is awful. They offer conditional letters to people who need work and then make them wait months with no start date, which is just cruel given the economy. Seriously, stay away from this company.

Technical

I first chatted with a recruiter who was super nice and knew a lot about the job. Then, I was told I'd have to take an assessment test before my first interview, and I had a few days to do it. I got the link, finished it the day before my interview. But on the interview day, I checked my email and saw they were moving on with other people. I was confused, so I emailed them asking if I wasn't qualified or if my assessment answers weren't good enough. They replied that my score wasn't bad, but not good enough to justify the salary I asked for. I was bummed I didn't even get a call to discuss it, and more bummed that an assessment test, which asked about my experience, was used to overlook my 19 years in IT (14 in Info/Cyber Security, 9 federal with 4 for a client of theirs) and my T3 clearance. I did a lot of research and was really excited about this company and thought I'd be a great fit. I wish I'd had the chance to actually interview and talk to the team and managers. Instead, I got disqualified based on an assessment test.

Behavioral Technical Coding

This whole process was a waste of time; they just wanted to collect resumes for future contracts or maybe sell data. I had two interviews. First, an HR call with basic questions like 'walk me through your resume' and 'why are you looking for a new role.' Then I got a technical assessment with multiple-choice and a few live coding questions. After that, they said I'd move to the final round where I met with three employees for about an hour, and they asked both technical and behavioral questions. The next day, HR called to say there wasn't actually a Data Analyst position open but they'd keep me in mind for future contracts. So, it seems like a fake job posting that just wasted my time. I'd only recommend it if you want to practice your interviewing, otherwise, avoid i4DM.
