As part of the application, they asked for a poem about my previous or current employer. I got an automated rejection email quickly after submitting my resume and application. It was annoying to have to write a poem for the application, which was already a lot, and then get rejected so fast. Having to write a poem shouldn't be part of the initial application. It felt like a waste of my time.

I was referred by two employees in a different department. I applied online and got an email about two weeks later for a phone interview. It lasted about 30 minutes and the recruiter said they wanted to move forward to an in-person interview. Three days later, I went to their main campus for the interview. They gave me a technical screening for an hour with about 30 questions (most multiple choice, some short answer, one extended response). Right after, I met with a team lead for an hour, including a 5-minute role play. She said I'd need to come back the following week for an interview with the dept head. In between, I had to create a 15-minute training session on one of their software products. I had to deliver this training at the start of the next interview to a panel. After my presentation, the panel asked questions for about 45 minutes. They said I'd know in 5-6 days if they'd move forward. 3 hours later, I got the request for consent to a background check so they could extend a formal offer.

I applied online and then got an email a few days later. They wanted to do a phone interview with an HR person. I scheduled it for the next week. The call was pretty short, only about 15 minutes. They asked some standard questions, and then the next day I got an email saying they weren't moving forward with me.
