Manufacturing Engineer
I applied through a recruiter and the first stage was a team interview, followed by a panel interview on-site. The interviews mostly asked competency and behavioral questions, and went over my CV. At the end, I asked some questions and we talked about the overall experience.

Manufacturing Engineer
I found this internship opening on JobMate, a university job board, and applied. Someone from the career center reached out to set up an on-campus interview, which was pretty straightforward. The company then invited me and other candidates for a plant tour and a second, final interview. We did the tour first, then had individual interviews. I heard back about a week later that I got the internship. This internship is great for getting hands-on engineering experience. Every day is different; some days I'm designing and implementing things for assembly lines. As an intern, I usually help engineers with their projects, but sometimes I get to own a project completely if I'm advanced enough. A typical day might involve designing something and then getting it fabricated. I can also learn to operate the WaterJet if I get trained. A lot of Excel work is involved too, for things like Work Instructions, Process Flow Diagrams, and PFMEA's. Communication isn't always the best here, but it's a decent place for an intern to get experience.

Manufacturing Engineer
The plant manager told me to wear business casual for the interview. I went in the next day and got the job. The whole thing took about three to four hours. I talked with the plant manager, and after that, he introduced me to the engineering manager and we went on a plant tour.
