First there was a phone interview with the project manager and then another one with the architect. Then I was invited to their Portland office for an in-person interview. The whole process was well-organized and on schedule. I spoke with architects and managers, and the questions were really focused on what they were currently working on. They even took me out to lunch, which made me feel really comfortable. They extended an offer within a week, and we had to negotiate the salary. When I initially turned down their offer, they came back with one closer to my asking price. It was a great experience overall.

The whole process took about three weeks and involved 3 rounds. All of them were pretty technical, covering system design and OOPs concepts. It was all smooth sailing until after the HR confirmed I got selected. Then, complete silence. I even sent an email asking for the next steps and dates, but they just ghosted me. No reply, no info on whether the position was frozen or anything. Super frustrating since they shouldn't ghost people after saying they got the job.
