I applied through my college's career site and heard back a week later for an on-campus interview the following week. The night before, there was a casual meet-and-greet with some recruiters. The next day, I had about a 40-minute interview focused on my personality and experience. That evening, I got an email inviting me for a second day of on-campus interviews. This second day was 2 hours long and had 4 parts: writing SQL based on criteria, calculating a ratio from accounting data, a technical skills interview with a manager, and an interview about my personality and problem-solving abilities.

Since I'm not from the area, the interview process was pretty long. It took me about a month to get through the first three phone interviews. Then they flew me out for the final interview. The first three were standard HR and tech questions about my past experience in the tech industry and with customer support. The final onsite interview had four parts. First was a Case Interview where I was given a problem about an ER having issues with long customer wait times and asked how I'd solve it. Second was the Project Tools Overview, a basic rundown of Huron's teams and software. During this, I had to write a simple join query and solve a brain teaser. The third was a lunch interview. The last interview was with the Director of Product Implementation to see if I'd be a good fit.

The interview process took about a month and involved roughly 8 hours of interviews. It felt excessively long, with multiple 2-3 hour interviews, which seemed like overkill for a company not highly ranked. The recruiter was also difficult to deal with, giving off a superior attitude and vague answers that increased uncertainty. This long hiring process makes one wonder about communication efficiency within the company.
