Really nice experience. There were 4 interviews in total, with two associates and two partners. The people were very casual and easygoing and seemed genuinely enthusiastic about their specific practice areas. The whole thing took about 2 hours and was done virtually.

The HAK team members are very personable and genuine. The interview process is straight forward and they were quick to schedule follow-ups. I get the feeling, however, that they do not understand senior associates at busy firms may have last-minute schedule changes as closing client calls arise. Refusing to take these calls causes suspicion at an associate's current firm.

There was no initial screening, just a "call back" style in-person interview. In total, I had two interviews, each with two attorneys, so I spoke with four people. The questions were pretty straightforward, mainly asking me to elaborate on my resume. The whole atmosphere felt very conversational. At the end, they talked about the next steps.
