I had a phone interview for an Account Coordinator role at Hunter PR/Legend PR. It seemed to go well, and they sent me five writing exercises for Level 1 Public Relations. I sent them back on time, but then I never heard back from the Recruiting Manager. I followed up twice by email and still no response, which was really rude and a waste of my time. I would have rather gotten an email saying I didn't get the job than just be ignored after doing all that work.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was great and lasted about 3 weeks. It kicked off with a phone call with the Recruiting Manager to discuss my interests, experience, and post-grad goals. It felt more like a chat to see where I'd fit best at Hunter. Next, I had a phone interview with the account team, which was also conversational but focused more on my past experiences. Then, I completed a written test that involved creating a press release, a media list, and a media clipping. After that, they asked for references and then extended an offer. I really appreciated how well they communicated throughout the process, keeping me informed about the timeline and what to expect next.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The hiring process was pretty easy and simple. It took about a month from start to finish, but they made sure to keep me updated the whole time. I had an initial interview with the team's director, and then another interview with two more senior people the following week. I was given a writing task to complete and also asked to give them my professional references. Everything was very well organized and everyone I interacted with was really nice and communicated well.
