Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hunter Douglas.
Management Trainee
It was a pretty long process with four main stages. First, I had a chat with a recruiter. Then, there was an assessment center which took up a whole day. This included group activities and a short presentation. After that, I interviewed with the APAC head. The final stage was a panel interview with global leaders. During the assessment center, we also did a factory tour and had about 7 rounds of interviews with the leadership team in Shanghai.
- Can you describe a challenging situation you encountered?
Manager
The interviews started off great, seemed like a fast-paced and solid company. But after a few rounds, they went radio silent. Even the headhunter didn't have any news.
- Could you share some details about your background and experience?
- What are your main motivations for seeking this role?
Management Trainee
Amazing opportunity and all dependent on Superday. Great culture, but lacked clear explanation for what they were searching for. I would interview here again, especially because of the time and effort they had put into their interview process.
- Tell me about your most difficult challenge.
