& Process

Before getting invited to the actual interview, you need to answer five questions via video. It's impersonal, but understandable. I have a passion for lingerie, so I already have experience in the industry and a lot of knowledge about the store operations, history, fashion, technology, etc. I applied multiple times within 1 year and was rejected each time with another impersonal, standard email saying they chose a candidate who fit the profile better. The icing on the cake was receiving this email 2-3 weeks after applying, only after I emailed them asking if my application was received and processed. I don't mind rejections, that's always possible, but the whole application process is impersonal and doesn't take applicants seriously. I strongly felt like posting the vacancies was just a formality and that they weren't actually looking at applications but had already chosen a new employee through other means.

I applied online and on the same day received an email inviting me to a video interview. In that interview, there were 3 questions, and I could re-record my answers as many times as I wanted. After 10 days, I got a friendly rejection email, but shortly after, about 2 hours later, I got a call inviting me for an in-person interview. It was with a SUPER FRIENDLY nice lady who really helped ease my nerves. She accidentally let it slip that I'd be a great fit for the company but would hear back by the weekend.

After applying online, I received an invitation for an online video interview within an hour. I had 5 days to complete it. I logged in via a link and was shown 3 videos from a Hunkemöller employee who asked me a question in each. I then recorded my answers via video, with unlimited attempts and a 3-minute time limit per answer (though not required to use the full time). Five days later, I received a call inviting me for an in-person interview.
