I applied on the website and about a week later, HR sent me an assessment with around 4 questions related to the job description. A week after submitting the assessment, they scheduled the first round, which was a culture fit meeting planned for about 45 minutes.

Coding Technical Behavioral Presentation

I interviewed with a mid-sized tech company for a front-end developer position. The first stage was a timed coding test focusing on JavaScript and React, which was pretty tough. Then, I had a video call with a senior engineer for the second round. They asked a mix of technical and behavioral questions. A cool part was when they presented a live UI bug and asked for my debugging approach. I liked that practical aspect. The last round was with the hiring manager, mostly about cultural fit and my future career goals. It was a good and engaging process overall.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you tell me about a difficult bug you faced and how you fixed it?
  • How would you go about debugging a UI bug you found in a real-world scenario?

I had an initial screen with the recruiter, followed by a panel interview over video. I was told that two other teams were interested, so I ended up doing three separate panel interviews. They required my camera to be on, but surprisingly, only one person out of nine on their end had their camera on during these calls. The final call was especially weird, with four people whose cameras were off while I was in the spotlight. It felt very impersonal and cold. The worst part was being ghosted after all three interviews. Seriously, someone at Humana needs to get a clue about the current job market.
