Actuarial Analyst
So the interview process was pretty standard. It started with a regular HR screen. Then I had one interview with the hiring manager. The final interview involved four people, split into two pairs. One pair was an AVP and a lead data scientist, and the other pair was the hiring manager and a product manager from a related team. Overall, the interviews felt friendly and straightforward.
- Can you tell me about your resume?
- For this math problem, can you describe your methodology and calculations?
- How did you come around data analysis?
Actuarial Intern
So, the interview process involved about 2 to 3 short interviews, each lasting 30 minutes. They were mostly behavioral questions, with not a ton of technical stuff. I did one interview at my university and another one on Zoom. Everything felt pretty smooth and straightforward, and I always knew what was happening next.
- Can you introduce yourself?
Actuarial Analyst
I applied online. Then I had two phone interviews, one with HR and another with the hiring manager. After that, I went to the Westchester office for the final on-site interview. This included lunch with future colleagues and an afternoon session talking with four actuarial associates. All the interviews were behavioral, asking about things like problem solving, communication, cooperation, time management, and learning ability. I didn't get an offer.
- Can you share an instance where you had to negotiate to alter expectations?
