I sent in my resume and cover letter, which included answers to 5 questions. Then they sent me an email for Round 2 asking me to submit a video and resubmit the same information I already sent. Round 3 was supposed to be a Skype interview, but I guess I didn't make it. It left me with a really bad impression. The whole process felt like a lot and it's hard for someone with a job to even apply. The screening seemed really focused on finding someone with a 'cool kid' personality and how 'different' the company was.

My interview process was a bit different from the norm at Snack Nation because of how we initially connected. It wasn't any more extensive than what I've experienced before, having worked in software, start-ups, and other places that typically have 4-5 interview touches. The interview was pretty much what anyone could ask for: they showed genuine interest in getting to know who I am and what I'm looking for to ensure it's a perfect fit for both sides. They understand that I might not be here forever, but they expect 150% effort during my time here.

It was pretty fast. After an initial phone call and I sent in a video explaining why I'd be a great fit, I was asked to come in twice. The entire thing took about 2 weeks. I got an email about a week after applying online. Once I got the email saying I advanced, I had to submit a video. This took another two days to arrange an in-person interview. I went in for one in-person interview that lasted about two hours. Two days after that, I was asked to come in for another interview with a board member and was offered the job early the next week.
