The interview process started with a phone screen and a hiring manager screen, followed by an on-site interview. The on-site included a case study that was really vague and basically asked how I would do my job. Honestly, I find that type of question off-putting because I can't really give a solid plan without being hired. If you're not super enthusiastic about working there, I wouldn't recommend wasting your time. They expected me to have a lot of questions about Hulu but then couldn't really answer mine. The recruiter was also not communicative at all, almost disrespectful. I won't be recommending this process to anyone I know.

I had a really positive experience with Hulu's hiring process, which was a nice change from other companies. They were responsive and treated me well. The interviews included phone calls and in-person meetings. The questions were mostly about my experience, the role, and my ideas, with some casual conversation. They also included peer interviews, which I had mixed feelings about. It was good to meet a lot of people, and they seemed really enthusiastic, but some came across as arrogant about how hard they work and how competitive it is to get hired there. I also had some doubts about the company's future direction. One frustrating thing was that job openings seemed to change or disappear late in the process, which felt like a waste of time.

I applied through the Disney portal and then got a phone screen call about a week later. I didn't think much of it and moved on to the first, second, and third rounds. Talking with the team was fun, but dealing with HR for scheduling and communication was a bit chaotic and stressful. The entire journey from start to finish, including getting the offer, took around 2.5 months.
