I applied by sending in my resume and cover letter through my school's career portal. After a few weeks, someone from the firm reached out to set up an interview. I had no idea who I'd be meeting with, so I was surprised when it turned out to be four attorneys, and then a quick chat with HR folks afterwards. Some of the attorneys seemed unprepared for the Paralegal role, with one awkwardly focusing on their own work and making me ask them questions to keep the conversation going. They were all nice enough, though. The interview was split into 15-minute slots with each of the four attorneys. The Paralegal Coordinator was there, and he was the most helpful with details about the job. The hardest part was waiting for a response; I interviewed in March and didn't find out from HR until May that I didn't get the position. I was okay with that, as I didn't think the firm's culture was a good fit. But waiting over two months without any real updates felt really unprofessional and disappointing. HR only sent brief replies after I followed up.

Went through two interviews, one phone call and then an in-person one. Had issues with them not getting back to me via email multiple times regarding my application status. Received a rejection letter in the mail a very long time later, about four months. It felt unprofessional and like they didn't value my time or the effort I put in.

It was a standard interview process. For the first round, I met with an associate and partner. Then, in the second round, I interviewed with five attorneys. All the interviews were behavioral, and they asked questions about my resume, how I work, and what I'm interested in. Everyone was really friendly and happy to answer any questions I had.
