So, applying for a Sales Associate role at Hudson's Bay is usually pretty simple and fast. You can apply online or in the store. Sometimes there's a quick phone call to screen you, but other times they might just go straight to an in-person interview. The main interview is normally at the store with the manager or a supervisor. It could be just you and them, or it might be a group thing. They'll ask basic stuff like why you're interested in the job, when you can work, and your thoughts on what makes for great customer service. Occasionally, they'll throw in some situation-based questions or a short role-play, like demonstrating how you'd sell something or deal with a tough customer. It's not a super tough process, and if it goes well, you'll probably hear back about an offer within a few days. Sometimes they do a background check before the offer, but not always. All in all, it's a speedy and pleasant process, and they're mostly looking for someone with a good attitude, who communicates well, and has good customer service skills.

My first interview was awesome it was a walk around the store talking about myself. That manager was awesome, never met anyone like that. The second interview after I left and came back after 2 years it was a tough group interview. I struggled with the trick questions and chose the wrong wording to describe myself.
