The interview process wasn't the worst, but it wasn't exactly professional. The HR person bcc'd me on the phone interview notification and didn't even use my name. I did appreciate knowing the interviewers' names and titles before the second interview, though they ended up being different people when I got on-site. All the interviewers seemed really focused on taking notes for everything I said, with very little reaction or eye contact. Then I got a rejection letter from a different company banner, which was weird. The interviews themselves were pretty structured, with no weird or tricky questions. Overall, the candidate experience was pretty poor.

I applied online and then got an email about a group interview at the store. It was in a training room with HR. There were about ten of us, and they asked us two questions each. My questions were both non-work related and easy for me. I handed in hard copies of my resume and left. Three days later, HR called to set up an all-day training session. I also had to fill out an online application that made me create a profile for future jobs.

There were 2 interviews, both did in groups. The first one was during the job fair on Friday and I was looking for sale associate or any open position. The interview started at around 11:30am and there were 6 of us. The HR was nice and got us very comfortable by letting us to introduce ourselves (in general) and talk about our favourite books. Then she asked many different kinds of questions individually and randomly (around 3 questions per person). The entire interview took around an hour. Then I received the offer for full time stock associate at footwear department on next Monday and the second interview chance with the department manager. The interview took place at 5pm on Thursday (the same week I received the offer), and there were around 7 people including me. The manager went through many process and details about the position and she only asked us all a question and it was the same question for everyone. The manager was very friendly, experienced, open minded and straight-forward. At the end, she gave us a tour to the department to show how things work. She then mentioned we shall all receive an offer IF they consider to hire us. The entire process took around 1.5 hour. I received the offer as a part time stock associate on next Monday.
