I applied through the company website after seeing the listing on a job board from my university. A few days later, I got a call, which I think was a screening to see if I was a good fit to meet the management team in person. We scheduled an interview for the next day, and the lobby was kind of like a doctor's office with an aquarium. I met with the manager, and based on the interview, I understood there's an opportunity to grow in customer service and sales, and the role is dynamic. The interview was short, but I got the main idea of the job. I was invited for a second interview, which was much more detailed and thorough than the first one. After the second interview, I talked with the manager again to ask any remaining questions I had. Overall, it was an interesting experience, and the people seemed nice. I'm expecting to hear back this week about whether they'll hire me.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

After applying, I was contacted right away and scheduled for an interview the next day in Jersey City. The office itself was in a simple, somewhat run-down building, reflecting the area, but it was fine. I met a young man who got my name and gave me a form that seemed to repeat information already on my resume. Soon after, I met the interviewer and was taken to a small office. The interview was pretty standard and very short, not giving me much chance to ask my own questions. They mentioned they work with Verizon and are developing managers for them. I was told I'd hear back that evening about a second interview, which is a full day 'drive-along' where I'd shadow the role to see if I'm a good fit. From what I've found and my initial impression, the company seems to present itself as more glamorous and successful than it might actually be. Further research suggests the job involves going door-to-door to sell Verizon services, like Fios. I've encountered these reps before, so I know the deal. I call it 'smoke and mirrors' because they claim to be a 'marketing consulting firm,' but their website is full of generic graphics and buzzwords, offering little real information and not seeming designed to attract clients. The whole 15-minute interview in Jersey City, which could have been a phone call and provided more job details, felt off. I was offered a second interview but decided not to accept. Overall, while the interview wasn't unpleasant, it felt like a complete waste of my time, leaving me with a negative view.

Applied and attached resume, but they already had it via email. Interviewer was nice and covered pay, benefits, and the need for social media and video content for a new brand launch. She mentioned I was highly qualified, expected a call the next day to discuss, and negotiation the day after. It's been a week, no response. Emailed them, and they went with someone else. Annoying.

I got contacted by the HR Director a few days after applying. I went in for an interview 2 days later. Parking was kind of hard, it took me about 10-15 minutes to find a spot. I waited in the lobby for about 30 minutes and then met with the hiring director. She discussed the role, duties, and the company culture with me. I also met some of the staff, and they seemed nice.
