I really liked how thorough and long the interview process was. It was a great way for me to show what I can do and how excited I am about the job. It also gave us both plenty of time to make sure we were a good match. The interviews and tests showed that the company really wants to make smart hiring choices, and it helped me learn more about what the company cares about and its culture. This long process, even though it was tough, showed how dedicated the company is to being great, and I think it set us up for a good and successful time working together.

So the interview process had about 5 rounds, all focused on checking your skills, how you'd fit in, and what you've done before. It's a bit long, but they give you good feedback, tell you what's coming next, and are open about the company, which makes it worth it. Plus, the interviewers were really friendly and easy to talk to, so each round was pretty engaging. The two that really stood out were the technical and the cultural rounds. For the technical part, you get a take-home project to do over about a week. They explained it clearly, and any questions you had were answered fast. In the interview, you talk about how you approached it and go over your code, and they ask stuff as you go. The cultural round was chill, you just meet two people from the company to get to know each other. It didn't feel like an interview at all.

First, I had a chat with the recruiter about the role and to get to know me and my salary expectations. Then, I had a technical conversation with the Hiring Manager. After that, I was given an assignment, which included 3 exercises and took about 5 hours to complete, to assess my technical skills. I also had to take a behavioural test. After passing the interviews and submitting the assignment, I got a standard rejection. I emailed for feedback on whether the assignment, my profile, or my experience was not a good fit, but I never got a reply. While rejection is possible, after investing my time in a lengthy hiring process, I expected personalized feedback.
