It was a phone interview followed by an in-person interview. The whole process was smooth and they offered me the job on the same day. I could have negotiated for a higher salary, but I wasn't sure about the range. They seem good with work-life balance.

I put in my application for Hub Group around Labor Day. It took a little while for them to respond, about 2.5 weeks, since it was just before peak season. First, a recruiter called and chatted with me for about 15 minutes, asking about my resume, my knowledge of Hub Group, and why I'd be a good fit. Then, I had a 40-minute interview with two account managers. We revisited my resume and discussed my past customer service roles. Finally, I interviewed with the VP of account management. They were really focused on extensive customer service experience, teamwork, or a transportation background. Everyone I met was super friendly and helpful.

Behavioral Case Technical

I kicked things off with a phone call from their recruiter, then confirmed the in-person meeting. I met the Director of the department and another team member in a small conference room for about 45 minutes. It was a pretty relaxed vibe since it was 'casual Friday.' Then, I had a chat with someone else who admitted he wasn't quite prepped for our discussion and seemed rushed to wrap it up.
