It was a phone call. The recruiter introduced herself and asked if it was still a good time to talk. She asked me what the job description was. She asked about prior jobs that would relate. She asked why I applied. The call lasted 45 minutes and was mostly questions about past jobs. She asked which shift I wanted. She asked if the pay rate was acceptable. She gave me the training date and asked if it was acceptable. I am a former business owner and answered most all with experience based off that, since it is my most recent job. She ended the call with "I have more interviews this week and will email you a yes or no by the end of the week". I take that as I didn't make the cut. No computer use was involved.

I talked to a recruiter on the phone first. Then, I had another phone interview with an HSN Recruitment Partner. After that, I met with the hiring sales manager in a panel interview, where I interviewed with 4 sales managers. Once I got an offer and accepted it, an extensive background check was done. I also had to take a drug test at HSN. The background check took a few weeks.

They first review your resume, then ask questions about your experience and customer service skills. They explain the job duties and then give you a test. The test involves using remote access to their computer system to do a mock sale. It's pretty straightforward if you can type and talk at the same time, which is needed for the job. After the test, they'll tell you about the schedule, pay, and benefits, and might offer you the job.
