Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at HPE COXA.
Engineer
Started with a pretty informal introductory chat with HR, who was friendly and made me feel comfortable. They broke the ice by asking me to talk about myself and what I'm looking for. Then, there was a second, more detailed interview.
- Tell me about your situation and what you are looking for.
Design Engineer
Technical and introductory interview about design knowledge, focusing on modeling and drawing skills. They asked medium-level technical questions but nothing practical or too specific.
- Have you ever done tolerance chains?
- Have you ever done drawings?
- Have you ever done top-down design?
Design Engineer
I was contacted by a recruiter via LinkedIn message. The first step was a phone call, followed by a Skype meeting. It was a general introductory meeting where I was asked about programs I've used, my language level, and academic projects. They also asked about exams I took related to design.
- Could you tell me about the academic projects you've worked on?
- Can you describe your university path?
