First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at HP Inc..
Packaging Engineer
The interview process started with a round with the hiring manager. They wanted to know my understanding of a packaging engineer's role, asked about times I've troubleshooted for a project, and inquired about leadership and collaboration experiences. They also asked about the importance of good packaging.
- The hiring manager asked me what I thought a packaging engineer does.
- They asked about times I had to troubleshoot for a project.
- They asked about leadership and collaboration moments in my life.
Engineer
The interview process involved a one-hour panel interview. The staff were generally nice. However, there was a two-month delay after the interview. The HR kept saying they were trying to push back the joining time and inquired about my expected salary and availability to adjust my start date. I initially thought they were serious and would extend an offer, but it ended up being very disappointing.
- Can you tell me about your career plans?
Engineer
They have a very good graduate program. With a first web and phone phase with technical questions and about motivations. If you pass this, they invite you to a kind of 1-week seminar at the company where they teach you about all the departments, they give you individual interviews, etc... they pay you an allowance depending on where you come from and the food on site.
- Varied technical and motivation questions.
