There were two interviews for this role. The first was with HR, who asked basic questions about my interest in the position and my relevant experience. The second interview was with the hiring manager, who asked questions similar to the HR round but focused more on assessing my potential to work well within the team.

I went through the interview process for this role twice. The first time, I met with two recruiters, followed by the hiring manager. During that meeting, I learned the position actually required a hybrid schedule, which wasn't for me, so I declined. The second time around, I saw the job posting again and contacted the recruiter I'd spoken with before. She set up another meeting with the hiring manager, and then I had a panel interview with department heads and an HR representative to assess cultural fit. I was notified about three weeks later that they chose another candidate. That was a month ago, and interestingly, the position is posted again. So, if you're considering it, be warned, maybe avoid this one.

The hiring process was lengthy and drawn out, and I never got any feedback. It started with a phone interview, followed by a site visit where I had five separate interviews. Then, there was a 30-minute presentation for seven people, and a tour. Weeks later, I was told I was one of two finalists and a decision would be made soon. Weeks after that, I found out I didn't get the job, even though I had already accepted another offer. I asked for feedback for my own professional development, but they refused to give it. I spent hours preparing and meeting with them on my own time. Basic feedback should be standard practice and given out of respect and professionalism. The lack of it left a bad impression and made me realize it wouldn't have been a good fit.

I had a lot of questions from someone who clearly just started as a HR Recruiter with the company. They never returned any of my calls and said the hiring manager would be calling me to set up a face to face interview. It's been 3 months now along with calls and emails. Still no return call. They signed up to help military spouses get jobs but didn't hold their end when you have a good candidate. I'll pass on ever calling or applying to this company again. Job still open. Town has a small population. My background is nothing but HR and federal.
