Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was straightforward and stress-free. I received a job offer within a week. It involved meeting with someone from the education department first, followed by meetings with principals. All the people I met were friendly and approachable. You just need to demonstrate your knowledge and passion for the role.

Behavioral Presentation

First, there's a preliminary interview with HR asking about your background, how you differentiate yourself, and what ELA and Math look like in your classroom. If you pass that, you move to a level II curriculum interview where they ask about your classroom and lesson plans and how you manage behavior. After passing that, you're placed in the teacher pool for principals to select you. Hiring can take a really long time because they wait for transfers to be completed.

Confirmed questions7 questions
  • Can you describe what effective ELA instruction entails?
  • What would a typical Math class you teach look like?
  • Tell me about your classroom management approach.

It took quite a while to get an in-person interview after a phone screen, about 4 weeks. The interview itself was pretty standard. The people interviewing me were laid-back. It wasn't a long interview, around 45 minutes. There were three interviewers, and they were all pretty chill and made me feel at ease.
