It was a straightforward interview for a retail position. The interview itself was easy, and I got the job. I worked there for the summer and enjoyed it. The process mainly involved basic competency questions.

It was a laid back one-on-one interview, and the dress code was smart casual. They score you out of 40 and tell you your score if you get the job. I got a 38. The brand is nice to work for because it has respected brands and a sophisticated feel. However, the pay went down a lot after Sports Direct bought it. My management was a bit clueless because of Sports Direct's new rules, and training on the till and stuff took a long time.

It was a really chill and easy interview, they said it would take 2 hours but it was over in less than 30 minutes. We started with a group activity where we did an icebreaker and then had to pick items to sell to a fake customer after getting some info. Then in the one-on-one, they knew I had no experience, so they said I could use examples from home and school. Just so you know, there were 9 questions and they chose 3 to ask.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you tell me about a time you had to compromise?
  • Describe a situation where you had to change plans at the last minute.
