I applied for the job on Indeed just by sending my resume and maybe a cover letter. I got a call within a week for an interview the next day. I dressed up in a dress, leather jacket, and heels. It was a 2-on-1 interview, but one person did most of the asking. She was nice and asked a lot of questions. I had read the company's about page and she asked me if I knew anything else about House of CB. I got a text 4 days later for a reference check, she called my referee the next day and the day after that, she offered me the job.

The whole thing took about two weeks. I got a call for an interview the same week I applied. I showed up 30 minutes early, but then had to wait around the store feeling tired for another half hour. The manager eventually interviewed me for about 15-20 minutes in their office. A few days later, I was called back for a 4-hour trial shift. It was me and three other people in a small store, and we had to keep things tidy and help customers. The manager mentioned she wouldn't be back until the next week and would let us know the outcome. I never got an email or a call to say I wasn't selected, even after waiting so long and doing that long trial. It shows how little they cared.
